Hello Band of Silver Parents,
This is a very important notice. Every year, Hall County has a marching exhibition for the local high school bands. A different school hosts every year, and this year it is OUR TURN. It’s coming one week from tomorrow.
Hall County Marching Exhibition
Monday, September 21, 2015
6 p.m. - approximately 8:30 p.m.
West Hall High School
The reason why this is important: WE NEED YOU.
Hosting the marching exhibition is an opportunity for us to welcome schools from across the county and create a great event. We also receive the benefit of all monies collected at the gate and concessions.
But all of this requires work. The booster officers have done a great job organizing and preparing for the event, but they can’t do everything on their own.
Please take a look at the following list of volunteer needs, and see if you can help in any way that afternoon and evening.
Gate Money Collection
Ushering (directing people to seats)
All volunteers will receive a free Hall County Marching Exhibition T-shirt.
Most volunteers are needed to arrive between 4:30 and 5:30. However, if you can only arrive later, let us know when you sign up.
To sign up, just email Stephanie Wetzel at firstname.lastname@example.org. Include the name(s) of volunteer(s), where you want to work, and when you can arrive.
She’ll pass your info on to the appropriate people, and you’ll hear from them with details on when/where to meet.
Or you can ask your student to sign you up for a specific slot with Mr. P. this week at school.
We really need to know as soon as possible who will be available to volunteer, so please do communicate with us as soon as you know whether and when you can help.
