Band Camp occurs during the last two weeks in July. It takes place at West Hall High School. Pre-camp runs Wednesday-Friday (9am-4pm) and Band Camp occurs the following week from Monday-Friday (8:00am until 8:00pm).
This is an opportunity for students to work with the expanded staff to review basics, fundamentals, and learn their role in the upcoming season’s marching show. Camp is also an opportunity for students to build friendships with fellow students that last throughout the year. Incoming band members will meet many new people in the band during camp which helps them become part of the community at West Hall High School before school even starts. A fee for food and instruction is required for camp. Band membership is dependent on attendance and participation at band camp.
