What is Charms?
The West Hall Band uses a program called Charms Office Assistant. This is helps us with communication, management, and organization of all things related to the West Hall Band Program. Charms not only keeps track of financial records, fundraising profits, and member information, it is also a tool for our student musicians! They can keep practice logs online, upload playing tests, and track their own grades! 

How do I login as a Parent/Student? 
+ Log on to www.charmsoffice.com and click "Enter/Log in" in the upper right corner. 
+ Locate the "Parent/Student/Members Login" section of the web page. Login to your student's account using the school code: Westhall
+ This will bring up the main “Public” page.  This will allow you to look at the calendar for the West Hall Band including event list, and handouts and other “publicly shared” files, as well as a few other options.
+ If your student is new to the west hall band and this is your first time accessing Charms, you will need to enter in an ID number that Ms. Wilson-Fields will provide. Please email her directly  at [email protected] to receive your student's ID number.
+ If the student or parent has already accessed the Charms account, you will need to use the password initially created by the first person to login. 
If you forgot your password, there are mechanisms to recover/reset a lost username or password. 

How do I update my personal information? 
+  Click on "Update Info" (blue person logo)
+ You can help make changes to adult and student information page (such as updating phone numbers / cell carriers and email addresses if they change) to help them communicate with you more effectively. You will also be able to indicate which parent volunteer/resource groups you would like to participate in. Click Update Info to save changes. 

How can I make payments online through Charms?
+ The West Hall Band has set up online credit card payments so you can make credit card payments for fees, trips and deposits to your student’s account. Click Finances -- you will see blue buttons in the four main areas of the financial statement indicating your ability to make online payments. Note: There is an additional 3% fee for online transactions. 

How do I look at my student's financial statement? 
+ Click on "finances" (wallet logo).  There you can see your student's financial statement. This includes fees that they owe the band as well as profit they have earned from fundraisers.
