West Hall High School, 5500 McEver Road, Oakwood, GA 30566
(Lunchroom and Front Parking Lot)
• 300-400 visitors are expected to attend
• 20+ participating restaurants, caterers and food service establishments
• Silent auction including gift cards, sports memorabilia, and more!
• Live Musical performances by Spartan Jazz and West Hall High School student ensembles throughout the event
- Setup is from 3:30pm to 4:45pm at the front main entrance of West Hall High School. We will have parents available to assist with move-in and setup.
- Doors open to the public at 5:00pm.
- The West Hall Band Association will provide table setup, ticket processing and cleanup for the serving and dining areas. We will provide signage for your restaurant. There will be a parent and one or two students assigned to assist you at your table. They will take care of checking off the “Taste Tickets” and to assist you as you may require. You will receive two complimentary event tickets for your use in sampling the fare along with the other attendees.
WHAT YOU’LL RECEIVE
Our website, www.westhallband.org, offers year-round advertising for our participating restaurants. The event is promoted actively through social media and by direct email to members of the West Hall Community.
YOU’LL ALSO RECEIVE
• Your logo and/or name in West Hall Band event publications throughout the year
• Your logo and a link to your website from the Taste of West Hall web page
• A table with event specific signage identifying your restaurant
• Volunteer support for setup and tear down
• A letter of acknowledgement and certificate for your participation
• Promotional opportunity for coupon or menu distribution
WIN THE GRAND PRIZE FOR BEST SAVORY TASTING or BEST SWEET TASTING!
All ticket holders will have one vote for their favorite sweet tasting and savory tasting from the evening. The two vendors with the most votes will win a Spartan Level Sponsorship worth $750+ for the 2019-2020 West Hall Band Season.
PARTICIPATING RESTAURANTS ARE ASKED TO PROVIDE
• One or more “sample-sized” portions approximately 1/5 of a meal, of your featured item to
serve at least 500 people. Each guest receives five “Taste Tickets”, plus a drink ticket and a dessert ticket. The goal is for the five samples to approximate a normal meal.
• Disposable paper goods (plates, napkins, utensils) for the food items you provide.
• Appropriate heating or cooling equipment required for your food items. Electrical outlets will NOT be available. You may wish to provide table clothes or decorations appropriate for your restaurant.
YOU CAN PROMOTE YOURSELF!
This is a great opportunity to distribute menus, coupons or other marketing information to the visitors!
